On-Demand UVC LED Operation

Unlike traditional UV systems that operate continuously, the Glacier GUV-4S uses an integral flow switch to activate the UVC LEDs only when water is being used. This helps reduce energy consumption while extending the lifespan of the LEDs.

Long-Life LED Technology

The integrated UVC LEDs are designed to provide approximately 5,000 hours of active “on-mode” operation, eliminating the need for routine lamp replacements commonly required with traditional UV systems.
